Day 3

The kids wanted to go out to the marina today…

…sit in the sun…

…and go hiking in the woods.

I’m really missing color.  I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to black and white.  I have to admit that I did fall off the black and white wagon today, but it was to take pictures of the honey comb we found in a fallen tree.  I guess it was more like stopping the wagon for a few minutes.

How can you ignore this type of color! Just yummy.

This is just going to get harder. I guess that’s why it’s called a challenge.

What fun would life be without challenges, right?! Keep up the good work. I like the idea of stopping the wagon rather than falling off–it’s all about perspective! I’m enjoying seeing pictures of the kids again too.

  3. I love black & white photography, but even I have to admit that the honey comb in color is amazing! Great photos!
